The third Civil Society Dialogue meeting will be held on Thursday, 24 June
The European Commission will hold the third Civil Society Dialogue meeting for the negotiations on the deeper EPA on Thursday, 24 June. The meeting will discuss the following draft reports prepared for the sustainability impact assessment:
- Trade and intellectual property rights
- Trade and public procurement and competition
- Institutional structure and dispute resolution mechanisms
And the following draft case studies:
The draft summary of stakeholder consultations will also be discussed.

Consultation Activities So Far
On 11 September 2020, the European Commission (DG TRADE) held a Civil Society Dialogue on the state of play of negotiations and on the draft Inception Report for this study (please see the reports page to download a copy of the final Inception report). Our approach to consultation
Stakeholder consultation is an integral part of the study and has included a series of activities to gather input from stakeholders – including online interviews in the five countries of Eastern and Southern Africa and dialogues with civil society organisations in Brussels.
